not be shared with unauthorized parties, except as required by law.

Why is an appointment system being implemented?+
The appointment system is intended to help manage the volume of clients, minimize long waiting times, organize the registration process, and ensure that registration centers can serve clients more efficiently.
Is there a fee for getting an appointment?+
No. The National ID registration and appointment are FREE of charge. Clients should not pay anyone to secure an appointment or register for the National ID.
What should I bring on the day of my appointment?+
For National ID registration:
0–4 years old — original copy of the child's birth certificate (PSA/NSO/LCR) and the National ID of the accompanying parent (mother/father).
5–17 years old — original copy of the child's birth certificate (PSA/NSO/LCR) and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
18 years old and above — any government-issued ID, original copy of birth certificate (PSA/NSO/LCR), and marriage certificate for married women (PSA/NSO/LCR).
Note: All documents presented are subject to verification and approval by the authorized PSA personnel.
Can I change or cancel my appointment?+
Yes, you may opt to cancel your appointment, but only authorized PSA National ID personnel can change your appointment.
What happens if I miss my appointment?+
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, you may need to secure another available schedule, subject to the rules and availability of the registration center.
Can I register without an appointment?+
This depends on the operating procedures and available capacity of the registration center. Clients are advised to check the official announcement of the concerned PSA registration center before going to the site.
Is the National ID registration still FREE?+
Yes. National ID registration is FREE of charge. The printing and issuance of the National ID in paper format (ePhilID) is also provided free of charge.
Can I request a National ID in paper format even if I do not have a transaction slip?+
Yes. Registered individuals may request the National ID in paper format (ePhilID) through designated PSA registration centers, subject to verification and availability of the service.
Can I update my information through the appointment system?+
Yes, you can request to update the demographic information of your National ID through the appointment system.
What if I already registered but have not received my physical National ID card?+
You may check the status or request assistance through official PSA National ID channels. You may also access your digital National ID through the eGovPH application, when available.
What should I do if the photo on my National ID card has faded?+
You may bring the National ID card to any PSA National ID Registration Center and request for the National ID in paper format (ePhilID).
I want to request a National ID in paper format (ePhilID) but I lost my transaction slip. What do I do?+
You may need to book an appointment online and bring any valid ID, birth certificate, or marriage certificate to any PSA National ID Registration Center for assistance.
